If you don’t know where you are going it can be difficult to find but is worth it in the end. It is at the most northern point of Longboat Key right before you cross the Longboat Key Bridge.

I suggest parking at the Coquina Beach public parking which is right across the Longboat Key Bridge. Then walking to the address below which is the access point to Beer Can Island.
